I was lucky to have an advance copy of this book, I was very curious because I had never read anything of Tillie’s before diving into it. I am writing about it now, and I honestly don’t know what to say because I don’t think I stopped crying since reaching a little over 40% of it.
This book is amazingly and wonderfully emotional. I am writing this and I am still tearing up, it is really that good, though to be honest I never saw it coming. Not for a second, and I am pretty usually good and see things coming around the corner in most books. In recent history, I do not recall crying this much whilst reading a book. I tend to be emotional at times with movies, but not books. And certainly not this way! I started tearing up pretty much a few pages in, and by the end we are talking packs for Kleenex needed and me having to finish the las few pages in a blur cause I couldn’t stop crying.
I am not going to give any spoilers, the blurb I have available just above should be enough, after all it was all I had too. I think, this is the one of the best books I read this year when it comes to pure romance. Part of me wants to say, Romeo and Juliet who?
This is deep, and it will grip you and tear you to shreds, like it did me.
As I am sitting here in front of my computer, I am finding it really hard to find accurate description for this fantastic novel, I fell in love straight away with the main characters, there is no way anyone wouldn’t and it was so easy from there. In fact, I would say that not reading it would be what I deem a great loss and I am hoping that it will crate a big buzz, because this is definitely one that will stay with me for years to come.
Take my word for it and just read it!
