“…It isn’t often that I find a book where a female author has tapped into the mind of a male character so well that you forget he isn’t a real person….” -Goodreads Review
“…Sara Ney has this one in the bag, as it is one of the best romance comedies I have read in a while…I found myself staying up all night — I could not put the book down. …” -Goodreads Review
“…This is a book you must read. So wickedly funny. Ridiculously entertaining. If you like the jerks as much as I do, you will go head-over-heels in love with How To Date A Douchebag! I started this one late one night and had to move to the couch so I didn’t wake up my husband…” -Author Adriana Locke
I have to tell you guys this one I loved!!
You know the title of it made it really intriguing for me which is why I was like, hells yeah I am going to review this baby! I have to be honest though, I though this was going to be in the same close category as Romeo and Rimmel’s story (aka. Hashtag Series) but I was really super surprised that it wasn’t.
Not even close!
Whereas we get to fall in love with Romeo fairly quickly in #Nerd, it took me forever to in comparison to warm up to Oz. Not because he is particularly bad or anything of the kind but I think more because it takes such a long time to become lovable.
However, I loved James from the start!
I love that she is a no nonsense kinda girl and that she doesn’t fall into the Oz trap so easily. Girl got standards and we have to respect that.
I did tell you straight on what I thought of the book, I loved it! It was funny, there were some really touching moments here and there and you know what, I even enjoyed the awkward ones too.
That made for some entertaining story telling and I am loving the fact that this is going to be a series. I do want to go too much into details, but the one thing I wanted to tell you is that I enjoyed the book so much that I actually read it twice.
That should tell you something.
I am really glad I got to read and enjoy this little gem and I hope you will too. If you guys want to have a good time, then this is the baby for you.
I really hope you love it as much as I did!
I live in the midwest, but “Will Write for Travel,” and believe everyone should follow their dreams, no matter how big or small. My favorite authors include Cindy Miles, S Walden, Suzanne Enoch, Tessa Dare (to name a few). I am a glutton for Historical, RomCom, Sports and MC romance.
