I am going to make it easy on everyone, I LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!
Suzy Spitfire Kills Everybody is such a fun book, I had a blast reading and I enjoyed every page!
I discovered Joe last year, when I had the opportunity to read and review Sex Hell, and I was so touched to have the chance to read another one of his novels.
Suzy certainly belongs in my badass chicks Hall of Fame on my blog, as well all know by now that I favor them quite a lot!
That girl is all sass and badass…
With a bit of crazy in there and that is what made her absolutely out of this world (literally!!) marvelous.
I would not mind more of her adventures, would that be possible Joe? What do you think?
Other than Suzy, we also have Ricardo (romantic counterpart and mini-lead) and his sister Maria! I really liked Maria very much, not as flamboyant as our Suzy, but also another very strong woman in her own right!
Ricardo is fab as well, very entertaining and he brought balance to the force… I mean Suzy! (I know too easy!)
It was nice to see him toning her down and made her think as she tends to react very quickly and not always smartly and it was really a striking role reversal where commonly we would tend to get the guy hothead and the girl being the reasonable one!
Now, the big bad!
There is one, of course.. otherwise why would Suzy need to kill anyone? I just love this book title! I do!
Yes, that big bad named Blurr… intriguing choice of name.. but he was really exceptional.
Even I fell for it a few times, but he is EVIL!!!
I mean all of them, so well written characters, we get to have a lot of their backstories and the way they come together is truly fantastic!
The writing is fluid, it is so easy to read.. lots of stuff going on and never a dull moment! Gosh darn it, I loved it and all my happy buttons were ticked!
I am going to very highly recommend it, if you are looking for something really fun, witty and just plain wonderful!
I really hope you fall in love with this book as I did!
