Review:
It has been a year since I discovered Rose Petal Graves and I could not be happier to finally have book 2 now not available.
A year is too long! I am just saying…
If you go back to my previous review of Rose Petal Graves then you know that I thought it was really fantastic and I was really drawn to the characters as well as the very unique storyline. Now, Rowan Wood Legends starts after the events of the first book and we continue on from there!
I read it in one go and once again, I would have been happy for more! I don’t why it felt like I finished it too quickly…. hmm I guess it is because stuff got interesting around the last third and I was all over it!
Cruz and Cat were our core characters in Rose Petal Graves but here there is a huge shift where Ace takes the leading male role and boy oh boy do I approve very whole heartedly!
Now you see why I wanted it longer…
I mean can you blame me?
I am grumpy now that we have to wait for book 3 to see how things are moving along since we have a slew of new Hunters and the Faes are as pleasant. I really enjoyed the direction this book took but again, I am leaving you with crumbs here…
This is not a standalone novel and you would really need to have read book 1 to enjoy this baby to it’s fullest!
Please don’t tell me, we have to wait till summer of 2018 for the next book…
Ok back to Rowan Wood Legends, it is beautifully written and a great steady pace. No dull moment and tensions of all over the place which takes it to the next level as there isn’t like any big action happening such as battles or whatnot. So having those more tense moments really did it for me.
I really love Cat very much, she is really a wonderful character and I am really curious in seeing her grow and evolve. That will make it really fun and entertaining and I cannot wait!
So there you have it guys, a really unique series that I am going to highly recommend to you all! You are not going to regret it, you know I would never steer you wrong!

About the Author
Olivia Wildenstein grew up in New York City, the daughter of a French father with a great sense of humor, and a Swedish mother whom she speaks to at least three times a day. She chose Brown University to complete her undergraduate studies and earned a bachelor’s in comparative literature. After designing jewelry for a few years, Wildenstein traded in her tools for a laptop computer and a very comfortable chair. This line of work made more sense, considering her college degree.
When she’s not writing, she’s psychoanalyzing everyone she meets (Yes. Everyone), eavesdropping on conversations to gather material for her next book, baking up a storm (that she actually eats), going to the gym (because she eats), and attempting not to be late at her children’s school (like she is 4 out of 5 mornings, on good weeks).
Wildenstein lives with her husband and three children in Geneva, Switzerland, where she’s an active member of the writing community.
