OMG, You guys!
I have been waiting for this book to drop for what it seems like ages and I was lucky that Cheryl kindly sent me an ARC and I pretty much died and went straight to heaven.
It has been a while since Book 3 Angel Tormented and I just checked my blog and my review was posted June 14th, 2016… pretty much eons ago!
Did I mention that I have been dying a slow death waiting?!
Well, the wait is over my friends and, gosh darn it, well worth the wait!
I need to tell you, I grabbed that book, hid in my room and 3 hours later, there was a part of me that was like holy macaroni… to why???????????? to please do not make me wait another year for Book 5!!
I don’t know what to tell you guys, so much has happened!
So much is still happening!
Not wanting to give you too many spoilers, but methinks that Cheryl was hanging out way too much with GRR Martin based on what I was reading!
I know, I said it!
You know what it means…
I will not tell you anything more or I will ruin it for you.
BUT and as you can see it is a big but, there are good things that happened too, and I was happy dancing when I saw it!
Nope, not telling!
My lips are sealed and my fingers will not be typing it even though I am pretty much bursting at the seams to talk about it!
The characters are still amazing, I really do love Angel, Cupid and I will admit pretty much everyone. Now, it has become a little bit more of an ensemble cast that just one or 2 main people I mean when we are talking about the good guys.
I was thinking about it as I was reading, and even the evil characters are really well drawn, I mean you HATE them for sure. Not even an ounce of anything redeeming in them and sometimes you need that.
I mean it is Lucifer we are talking about, and funny enough I was watching the Tv Lucifer (that I love, and why did you cancel the show.. why???) and I do like that within the series we kept the cannon of it.
Honestly, I really enjoyed reading it and if you have read the previous books of the series, then just like me you are going to go gaga over every single page. I mean, really there is no other choice!
Just be prepared!
The good, the bad and the ugly all of it, make for an amazing read. Cheryl, my friend you made us wait, but it was well worth it.
I have said a lot, and at the same time not so much at all… but… I promise you Angel in Crisis is EPIC and I need book 5 STAT!!!
Now, this is for those of you who are just discovering this book here, I need to tell you that you cannot read it as a standalone. Nope, this is one of those where you have to start with book 1 Angel in Training so that you can reach this point right here.
I fell hard for the Louisiangel series, and it is one that I adore and highly recommend to everyone. You have everything as we get everything, fights, action, tons of emotions, surprises, twists… you name it, I am pretty sure we got it covered!
So there you have and it should come as no surprise that Angel in Crisis a SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and for you newbies, start with book 1 and I promise you that you will not regret it!
