First came the Four Fathers.
Now it’s time for the Four Sons.
Nixon by Ker Dukey
LIVE!!!
Synopsis
I am devious, a dark soul, and son to a dead man—or am I?
I plan many moves ahead to get the result I want.
Her.
Things may be complicated, but we were always destined for each other.
I’ll protect her from any threat and defend my interests, even if it means going against my own brothers.
My name is Nixon Pearson.
I’m ruthless and deadly, but also devoted.
People may think I’m young and naïve, but that’s just a mask I wear to fool them.
NIXON
***This series should be read in order to understand the plot.***
Nixon is not my first book from Ker Dukey, the previous one that I have read and reviewed was Devil. I was really blown away by it and I can tell you right now that Nixon is no different.
I read it in one go and honestly, it is really a fast read. If I timed myself correctly, I was pretty much done in a little over an hour. So if you like a shorter book, this baby is sure for you.
So this is book 1 of a series that is going to be written by different authors, each will cover a different brother. Here we started with Nixon, better known as Nix.
This is a follow up to the Four Fathers series…
I did not read it.
The reason I am mentioning this is that I read and enjoyed the book very much without having read the previous series. So, you do not have to read the previous books. Though, when I have a bit of time, I may go back and read them.
But back to the book at hands, it is pretty much in the same spirit of books written by Sienna Blake, Ella Miles, and even Kirsty Moseley. We are talking Dark, but not super deep dark, the book pretty much opens on something really bad!
Not that I think about it, I even had a little flashback to the Sociopath series…
We have here the story of Nixon and Rowan (love the name btw!!) and all I can tell you that the circumstances are terrible and not really a conduit to getting 2 people together.
I could tell you more…
But…
That would be me giving you a lot of spoilers and we all know that I prefer not to.
It is not good friends!
That is all I am going to say.
We have the classic PoV switcharoo between Rowan and Nix, I think considering the storyline that it was an excellent choice for the narrative and progression of the story.
Like I said above, it is really a quick read. I could have used a few more chapters, I was really enjoying the book; it was wonderfully written so there is that part of me that hated when the ending came.
I am looking forward to book 2 which is Hayden’s story (he was a bit of a douche in this book), and it is a first for me to read a series from different author. It will be an interesting experience overall.
I will do my best to keep you posted guys!
In the meantime, I love Ker and I am going to very highly recommend Nixon to you all. You are going to love it!
When have I ever steered you wrong?

Meet Author Ker Dukey
I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bedtime stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script. I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so I thought it best that I tell my own.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made of light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
You can find me on Facebook where I love interacting with my readers.
