Review:
I Bet You is pretty much the follow up of I Dare You that I read and reviewed a few months back.
This time we are focusing on another couple, Ryker and Penelope. I will be honest, I have not had the chance to re-read I Dare You, but I seem to recall that was when we were introduced to Ryker a little in that book.
After my experience with I Dare You, I expected to have dynamite in my hands and I was certainly not disappointed. Just like its predecessor, I Bet You was amazing. We have great characters, a good dose of drama, emotions running all over the place and just plain fun!
This has cemented that from now on when I get a new book from Ilsa, I know exactly what I will get. Nothing makes me happier, because I know the book will deliver and this one did in spades.
If you have followed my advice and read I Dare You, then I will not tell you because pretty much you already know what you are going to get, but if you have not then what are you waiting for?
Though the 2 books are related, you can read them as a standalone, but we all know me and I always like to start with the first book. Makes me wonder if this will be properly labeled as a series when I take into account the crossover characters and well the formatting of the book titles. Now, I would need to see if we get a third book within the same environment and we can decide then.
Are we getting a third?
Can I vote for an early Yes, please?!!
The reason I am not digging too much into details regarding the plot and characters is that I feel I will likely slip and spoil it for you. Nobody wants that.
So this time, I am going to keep it short and sweet and let you know that I Bet You was truly wonderful and I am going to be very highly recommending it to you all. I have become such a huge fan if Ilsa, that I went and grabbed another one of her books called Very Bad Things.
