Review:
It is not every day that I do some of those wild west type romances.
I cannot remember for the life of me, when was the last time I read one, must have been a few years. However, Breaking Josephine was really a good start.
It was a quick read and Josephine was really quite the character, to say the least. I found her very endearing and lovable. Put her and Jack together and I could not help myself from cracking up when you think about how she got to him!
I read the book in one go, and I found it to be quite lovely. As I mentioned, this is not the type I am very familiar with, so it is really difficult to compare it to others or the kind to give you a more informed opinion, but I did enjoy it with me as Jo is a stubborn minx who knows what she wants.
Considering that I gravitate towards kick-ass women, Jo is one in her own unique way.
I really enjoyed Breaking Josephine, and if you want an entertaining character, Jo will not let you down! I am going to very much recommend Breaking Josephine and while I am at it, Ruby’s Passion was equally as good. I had the opportunity to read it, and I loved the fact that we are very much familiar with them as we met them while getting to know Jo.
Both books are a great read and I did finish them back to back. I am really curious about book 3 and I hope it will be available soon.
So based on what I said above, I am going to also recommend Ruby’s Passion and tell you what, why don’t you do what I did and read them back to back. I had a great time and Brooke knows how to put together some feisty women!
