Review:
Don’t you just love the cover of this book? I do!!!
But back to the serious business of reviewing Corruption of the Heart, and I can tell honestly that at first I did not know what to do with it.
I got my copy on Kindle and this is where when you read a book and you cannot remember the blurb, well you are kinda stuck cause you cannot flip the kindle to the back cover and have a quick browse like on a a proper book.
So it all starts really slowly with Lilith who has recently lost her parent to an accident, moved in with an aunt who doesn’t like her and is a loner (by choice) at school. Then pretty much out of the blue the one guy she kinda had a crush on starts talking to her and his ex is not so happy about it.
Af first I was like, oooh high school drama let us see where this will take me and then as we moved along the story well, revelations dropped my friends and my jaw dropped!
I do not want to go into too much details but the one thing I know for sure is that we are having a book 2 since there are so many things left open at the end of this one to not warrant a follow up.
Though it started slow as I mentioned earlier, I am happy to say that when things fell together, it really picked up and became a lot more interesting to the action-hungry fanatic that I am.
I am finding the story’s twist super original and the smart way it was done, the things that make my little heart happy… I swear!
I think Corruption of the Heart is a lovely read and done nicely and I am thinking the following book or books (one never knows these days) have a really great potential so keep it up Jessica, I am counting on you!
So if you are a lover of Paranormal or even if you are considering the genre, this is a lovely book, and easy read and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
