MY REVIEW:
I did not cry at the end!
There was a discussion around that on my Instagram with a fellow ARC reader and she told me she cried. I prepared my box of Kleenex, but you know what no tears.
At the end of book 1 I was heartbroken, at the end of book 2 same thing!
It was so so beautifully, heartbreakingly sad and it ripped me to shreds! I mean I knew going in that it was going to be tragic, but sheesh someone took it to the next level.
So at the end of Love sprung from Hate, we left our beloved couple in a dire situation, and I don’t think this will be a spoiler if I tell you that things do not get any better. Now, do not get me wrong, we progress quite a bit in the story, we learn invaluable back story but at the same time, as this brings Roman and Juliana closer, it tears them apart none the less.
I have to give the writing massive props and Sienna is an amazing story teller because as you can see from the first few sentences of my review.
I am very emotional about this book, this whole series in general to be fair! I mean I finished the book really quickly, only put it down once to get something to drink (some parts were so darn steamy hot, that I managed to get myself dehydrated!!!).
So nw guys, we have one final book left that will come out on Aug 10th, and I praying to any passing deity that we are going to get a good resolution. I am also crossing everything because we all know Romeo and Juliet ended badly and as this is a more modern retelling. I mean looking at this book, things are dire my friends.
You can trust me when I tell you this.
Who would have thought that I would be so emotionally invested with these characters?
The more I think about it, the more I realize that I have to lay the blame on Sienna’s feet because well I was drawn into the web and frankly, I do not want to be freed!
For those of you that are reading this review first, please note that you need to have read book 1 Love Sprung from Hate first, before diving into this baby. This is not one of those open series where you can read any book in whichever order!
Sienna, I need to say this; I believe you are giving Shakespeare a run for his money!
