Review:
Sybil you have done it again!!
I was expecting no less of sheer perfection with Grind and I can tell you that we got it! This is the third or fourth book I am reading from Sybil out of her 2 close linked series and again it is pure love.
We do get our sexy super alpha Dane saving our girl in distress Irina, but I liked this one quite a lot. It felt that this time around both Dane and Irina were more vulnerable both physically and emotionally than their counterparts in other books and I it added an extra in terms of the emotional setting in the story.
As to be expected, we get some cross over, it was so nice to see Talon again, well he is my favorite cause it all started with him after all, and I cannot wait to get my hands on more books.
Grind is a super sexy read and I finished it all in about 2/3 hours. Sybil knows certainly how to write her books and I love her for her storytelling.
I should let you know that the dedication at the beginning of the book was deeply touching and hilarious all at the same time, honestly, I was cracking up! You will see what I am talking about when you read the book.
Now as this is part of a bigger ensemble, I can tell you that you can enjoy the book as a standalone without any issues, but I think reading the other books in the 2 series, would be great and would add an extra dimension to the story, after all these men are really closely intertwined.
You know, I had an idea cross my mind as I was nearing the end of the book. I wondered all these super alpha males seem to be getting a lot of damsels in distress (nothing wrong with that!!) but what would happen if one got face to face with an alpha female? Sparks would fly and that would be super fun to see a bit of a clash of the titans there! Just a thought though…
So anyways guys, I am going to recommend Grind to you all and pretty much the whole series if you have not read them. They are funny, super sexy and quite emotional too; a very heady mix.
