Review:
I need to be honest and let you all know that I suffer from a deep case of addiction of V. F. Mason. I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to read and review a good number of her books and I need to tell you guys that they are amazing!
Here we have the continuation of the Bratva and Cosa Nostra series, where we had Dominic’s story then the one for the Sovietnik‘s. Here we meet another one of the Bratva in the person of Gleb and Victoria.
Now I would like to start and mention that the cover is mightily yummy! Not normally the look I would go for in a guy, but I decided I could make an exception for him. It is funny, when I think about it that I think that the mafia sounds kinda hot! Gotta give mrs. Mason credit for this one!
But I do need to tell you that like the other books, this one is a hot and steamy and boy oh boy did I enjoy it very much! Gleb and Victoria both have very difficult backgrounds and are truly wonderful characters. There is a lot in their back stories, but I gotta give Victoria extra points here for the loss of her younger brother.
There are really some interesting twists and surprises, and I do love those. So all is not what it seems, it just takes the story and the characters to the next level.
I am not going to bore you with details, but I finished it in one sitting reading it in bed and it was a lovely read! You got some action, some secrets, two beautiful people going at it like rabbits… Honestly, a great book and a nice bit of mystery too.
It is an easy read, I love how it ties with the other books and characters as well and I am sure we will see everyone again in the next volume of this beloved series.
I would definitely recommend reading them all starting with Socio’s story, you will thank me for it, but if you want to read Brigadier’s Game as a standalone, well you can too!
I do hope you love the book and series as much as I did!

V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her mama over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen.
Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it.
When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
