Saoirse
I wanted him since the day I met him. Long haired, tattooed and tall as an Irish giant. He was more than just handsome, he was drop dead gorgeous. And the only one who ever truly cared.
It didn’t matter to him that my father was a criminal and my mother a whore. He saw me, understood me.

I could be anything I wanted, he said.
Except his.
Because I was too young and he was my Juvenile Liaison Officer.

Diarmuid
It’s been years since I last saw her. No longer a girl, she has a body of a woman. When our eyes met again, I saw the only one who ever broke through my asshole mask. She never judged me.
She saw me, accepted me.

She could be anything she wanted.
Except mine.
Cause she’s only seventeen and I’m trying my hardest not to fall for her.

If I give in, she will ruin me.

*This is a slow-burn, angsty love story spanning across a seven-year time period with sexual situations and drug-use involving characters under the age of eighteen.
Irish Kiss is a complete standalone novel with a Happily Ever After, but damn, it is going to hurt along the way.*
Review:
For me, no one knows how to dig into the human heart, emotions and frailties like Sienna.
Having had the opportunity to read and review her Dark Romeo series and other books, I was really excited about Irish Kiss. Sienna never disappoints and once again, we have a rare gem on our hands.
This is one of those cases when I do not go in with a blank slate, because I know what is coming friends and I cannot ignore it!  I know it will be rough, poignant, that I will sure be crying a little and always pray that it will end well!  I have now my routine when it comes to Sienna’s books; I am prepared and keep a box of Kleenex handy just in case!

Saoirse and Diarmuid are really very complex characters and with Sienna they usually are, passions run deep.  There is one huge factor going against them from the moment they meet and that is the massive age difference.

He was already a full blown adult at their first meeting and she was just 14.  Of course, that is not the only difficulty, but the fun of it is that I do not give you too many details there. The story span across a number of years, you will see once you read the book.
There are secondary characters that I very much enjoyed, like Diarmuid’s 2 besties and Saoirse’s neighbor. I am actually wondering when I am writing this if we are going to get more books this time focused on the besties?  I am just speculating here but based on the tagline, methinks I could be right; time will tell!
As usual, I am trying very hard not to drop spoilers, because I would be doing you a great disservice, but know that Irish Kiss is bloody well amazing, that I read it in one go and used 3 tissues! Yes, I cried on a few occasions while reading!
It will come then as no surprise when I tell you this it is SUPER HIGHLY recommended and there is no way you are not going to love the emotional rollercoaster that is this book!  I really hope you love it as much as I did!
