Pretend I’m Yours by Ella Miles
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I am a huge fan of Ella and read a few of her books. I was so happy I got the chance to have an early copy of the book and that is what I did yesterday as I went to bed with my Kindle and started reading.
As I said, I have read a few of Ella’s books and she has never disappointed me before… like ever! So I knew going in that it was going to be good.
I was right…
I am never wrong!
I always have an idea of much I am going to like a book based on the blurb and previous work read (when I know the author) and yeah well… it was awesome!
Here, I said it!
I loved it!
See for me I put Ella’s books on par with those from Sienna Blake but Sienna’s are much gritty and darker in the emotional exploration and Ella’s is more fun, light but still at time quite emotionally charged.
I need to tell you all that I did choke up a little a couple of times here and there, and I did brush of 2 tears away!
In Pretend I’m Yours we meet Larkyn and Kade, our main couple and we have some additional interesting ones such as Kade’s brother Sebastian as well as Serena Larkyn’s bestie.
I very much liked Larkyn and Kade, they both have less than brilliant backgrounds and I think this makes them both very relatable not only to us but to each other as well. Their interactions are utterly fanstastic and I could not keep most of the time a huge smile off my face!
Pretend I’m Yours is a very entertaining read, with a lot of emotions and a great pace. I finished it in one go and loved every second of it.
I am thinking Sebastian needs his story too btw…
But back to the book, I am going to very highly recommend it, and I do hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I can promise you that you will not be disappointed one bit!
