Rules of Friendship was really really great!
I had such a good time hanging out with these 2 as they go from besties to something else entirely. It was funny, witty, sometimes cringey (not in a bad way) but overall a really fun read.
I read it in one go and could not put it down until I was done.
I really enjoyed the perspective and premise of the story, and as I was thinking about it, this is not a very recurring theme in the genre. I could be mistaken, but I have not seen many of the besties to more tropes in my most recent discoveries.
So for me this was a true welcome change.
Dawson and Reece were truly lovely characters, but I have to tell you that there are time when one or the other .. even both got a little bit on my nerves.
There is nothing wrong with that, no one is perfect… even though fiction tends to make us forget that more often than not.
To be honest, I was a bit more annoyed with Reece than with Dawson, but as you read the book, I am curious to know if you think that maybe I was too harsh on her. I really would love to hear your opinions!
Rules of Friendship is truly refreshing and entertaining and I would highly recommend it, if you are are in the mood for a light fun read.
I really hope you love it as much as I did.
