Review:

I have to tell you guys, this was truly short and sweet! (Not really sweet, but you know what I mean)I really expected the book to be much longer but I was done reading it quite quickly! So if you are into shorter books, then this baby is the right one for you. However, I need to tell you that there is parts in Depredation, that are a bit difficult to swallow.

For this reason, if you are of a more sensitive nature, I would tell you to stay away.

The story centers around Harper after she has escaped from being pretty much J’s sex slave for 2 years and we get to see where she is at, after being tortured for so long. To understand more, we are taken into flashback moments and we get to live through her the hell she went through.

There is a lot, and I am not going to tell you much more.

You know the drill, as my readers… if something peaked your interest then you have to go, get the book and read it. Like I said above it is really a fast one!

I will be straight and say that I really wished the book was longer. Really, I do believe I would have enjoyed a few more chapters… When you reach the ending, tell me… Would you have liked more like I did?

Unless there is a part 2 that is meant to follow up the events here.

Anyways, I really liked Depredation very much. It is dark, there are parts where I even gulped loudly…

Despite all that, it held a strong feeling of reality and truth. When you hear some stories in the news, honestly, what goes on in the book does not seem all that far fetched.

If you enjoy these darker books, then this baby is right up your alleys, and you are going to love it! As much as I love my ass-kicking female strong leads, there is something to be said about those darker books. Brings in a balance!

I am going to be very highly recommending Depredation, and I hope you tell me what you thought! Are you like me and want more?
