Actually, to be precise we are talking about Angels and Demons LOL… reminds you of something?
It has been a while since I got to read an angel themed book, and I have missed them so much! Makes me wonder if this is not a super common theme in Paranormal books. But I have to tell you after reading Deadly Passion that I am quite excited about this series.
We start off by meeting Azrael and his friends in Heaven and well things happen and now Azrael and the others are on earth with us fallen!
Can you believe it?
The other main character we meet is Dru and well… she is not an angel!
The opposite to be precise, but you know where I am going.
Opposites attract!
To give more details, something was taken from Heaven and a lot of people are after it and well… guess who team up together?
Since when do I provide this many spoilers?
I am not giving you one more peep other than to say that I really had great fun reading this book. Ok, I am against casting pretty angels from Heaven, but I have the feeling stuff is going on in the background that will likely be explained in the next books of this series.
I really liked Dru very much as she is a very complex character with a fascinating backstory, Azrael not so much cause well good angels are less excited.
However, you put these 2 together and you have some fun! I definitely did, and we are talking about a huge smile on my face at certain moments!
I do believe the next one is already out, or if I am mistaken to be released very very soon, but I am truly excited about that. I really feel that this is a great starter of a series, and I am expecting everything coming after to be even greater.
If you are angel obsessed like me, then you are going to very much enjoy Deadly Passion, if this is something new to you, then I do believe this is a great intro to the theme. It has a lot of everything to keep you enthralled!
I am going to very Highly recommend it and I do hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
