Review:
I really liked Wolf Tamer as it is very much in line with Yumoyori’s style.
I did discover Yumoyori here when I posted a promo for her Visionary Investigator book, but I got hooked on the Starlight Gods Series especially when I read and reviewed Dark Wish. If I am not mistaken I have read all current books. However, I do need to go into the Visionary Series, because guess what.. there is a crossover with it and the Starlight one.
But let us focus on Wolf Tamer, and I loved it!
It was original, smart, funny and sometimes sad all at the same time. Though it is about werewolves, the fact is, that the whole book is so much more! It all starts with a traumatic event and goes from there as we see Harper grow up.
There are some surprises, some welcome some not!
Villains, we can never escape those and a couple of background characters that I got super fond of!
Yumoyori is a very prolific writer and I have no idea how many books are meant to be in the series, but that was a glorious start. Very much reminds me of how I got totally sucked into Dark Wish. In that, I am very grateful, as I really like Yumoyori’s style.
I read it in one go and I was ready for book 2. Knowing Yumoyori, it is not going to be a very long wait. I hope!
If you have read any of Yumoyori’s other series, then you know you are getting your hands on a great fun read, however, if you are just discovering the author, then I am pretty sure you are going to get addicted as I did.
Wolf Tamer is a fantastic read and I am going to very highly recommend it to you all! Plus I suggest you get into some of her other books as it is my plan to do this Christmas.
