The Hashtag Series by Cambria Hebert

As I am starting this blog, I felt it was only right that I begin with one of my favourite series of the past few months.  The #Hashtag Series by Cambria Hebert that started with #Nerd and just recently ended with the sixth book #Heart.

It is the classic story nerdy unpopular yet “beautiful” girl meeting super hot popular jock… though to be fair it has plenty of twists and turns and surprises all over the place.  We start by getting Romeo and Rimmel’s story then we move on to Braeden and Ivy’s stay and all of these lovely people coming together in a lovely conclusion in #Heart.

Is it grand literature no, plus to be honest I am not going to be reviewing or discussing any of the greatest writers, unless well it strikes my fancy. But the series is sweet, entertaining and some stuff coming out of Braeden’s mouth is damned right funny.  I will be honest I am more partial to Romeo and Rimmel’s story but it doesn’t mean that the other characters aren’t awesome and it is frankly simply and nicely written.  It is not fussy or complicated, somewhat overly sweet and tacky but that just brings a smile to my face.

So if you are in the mood to read something sweet and funny with a bit of drama and get your mind of your real boring or complicated life for a short while, I definitely highly recommend the Hashtag Series and to be honest with you, I have been going back quite frequently when I need a little cheering up.
